Q: Who is You Can Buy?
A: You Can Buy Is one of the fastest growing consumer finance companies in the country, helping thousands of callers a day to finance the products they want and need. Q: How does the program work?
A: Instead of checking your credit, and measuring you based on your credit history, all we ask is that you build a credit history with us by paying a small activation fee and then set up regular weekly or bi-weekly automatic payments from your bank account. After you have built up a short credit history with You Can Buy, your computer or TV will be ordered from the manufacturer and have it shipped to your home. Regular payments will continue to be withdrawn from your checking or savings account (credit card optional). At the end of one year you will be the proud owner of your very own computer.

Q: Are the electronics (computers & TVs) brand new?
A: Yes, every electronic (computer & TV) we sell is brand new and manufactured by a major, brand name computer manufacturer.

Q: Am I renting a computer or TV?
A: No, this is not a computer/TV rental program or a computer leasing program. You Can Buy specializes in helping consumers buy computers & HDTVs of their very own.

Q: Does You Can Buy make computers, TVs, or electronics?
A: You Can Buy is not a electronics manufacturer. All products sold by You Can Buy are made by a brand name manufacturer and backed by the manufacturer’s warranty and technical support.

Q: What kind of computer should I buy?
A: Our Approval Representatives are trained to help you pick the best computer to meet your needs. Please contact us at 1-800-839-2954 and we will help you with our decision. Also, you may find it helpful to consult our Products page.

Q: Is the computer Internet ready?
A: Yes, all of our computers are Internet ready. You will need to contact a local ISP (Internet Service Provider) and sign up with them to get connected.

Q: Do I qualify?
A: You Can Buy will not check your credit. All you need to qualify is to be 18 years of age, have an active checking or savings account and a verifiable home address.

Q: I don't have the best credit. Can I still buy a computer, TV, or electronics?
A: Our program is specifically for you! We understand that sometimes events in life lead to financial difficulties and poor credit. At You Can Buy, we believe that those difficulties should not keep you from owning a computer, TV, or electronics. Buying  from You Can Buy may actually help you improve your credit by establishing a record of on-time financing payments.

Q: Can I make early payments to receive my computer faster?
A: Yes! By calling our Customer Service team at 1-800-839-2954 you can authorize extra one-time additional payments to receive your computer faster or to pay off your balance faster.

Q: I don’t get paid weekly. May I pay according to my pay cycle?
A: Yes! You can pay for your product either weekly, bi-weekly (every other week), or semi-monthly (twice per month). Customers normally pay according to how they receive their income. So, for example, if you are paid semi-monthly (twice per month), simply choose the semi-monthly payment option when ordering. If you are paid every other week, simply choose the bi-weekly payment option.

Q: What if I cannot make one of my payments?
A: You have the option to skip up to three weekly payments or two bi-weekly payments without any penalty. In order to qualify for this program you must speak with one of our Customer Service team members at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled withdrawal. Everyone has times when money is tight and You Can Buy is here to help.

Q: What happens if I miss a payment before receiving my merchandise?
A: Your payment history is one of the chief factors we look at when evaluating your account. Missing a payment beforehand increases the risk factor of the account going into default after shipping the merchandise. Consequently, we ask that the customer pay more down on the merchandise prior to it being shipped. This is how we lower the risk with our customers. We add (3) three weeks’ worth of payments—for each missed payment—to the initial payments required in order to ship your merchandise early. In short, we’re asking that you put more money down on the merchandise before it is shipped if you miss a payment. If you miss a lot of payments we may require that you pay your balance in full before shipping.

Q: I've had a bankruptcy in the past, can I still receive financing?
A: Yes! As long as the bankruptcy has been discharged and you meet all the other program requirements you can still qualify for computer financing from You Can Buy.

Q: What if I have a problem operating my computer?
A: All of our computers are supported by the manufacturer’s technical support team.

Q: Does the computer have a warranty?
A: Yes, every computer we sell is backed by the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Q: How long will it take to get my computer?
A: Once you have completed your layaway payments your brand new computer will be ordered from the manufacturer.

Q: How is my purchase (product) shipped?
A: All of our products are shipped via UPS, DHL or FedEx. We only ship to U.S. addresses. The shipping is handled by the manufacturer of the product.

Q: What if I change my mind can I cancel purchase?
A: If you change your mind prior to the computer being ordered from the manufacturer you may cancel your purchase and qualify for a refund.

Q: Is my personal information secure if I order online at www.YouCanBuy.net?
A: Yes! The team behind You Can Buy is committed to keeping your personal information very secure. Rest assured that security measures are in place to keep your data private. For more information please consult our Privacy Policy.

Q: Is this program available outside the United States?
A: At this time, You Can Buy sells computers to U.S. Residents only.

Q: Does You Can Buy work with home baed and small business owners?
A: Yes. This is one of the larger groups we serve and have been able to help provide technology solutions so the business owners can focus on setting their business running.

Q: Will I own my electronics (computer or TV) after I complete the program?
A: Yes. Provided you make all your payments on time as agreed, you will own your computer upon completing the (12) twelve month program, sooner if you choose to make additional payments. This is NOT a rent-to-own or lease program. After you’ve successfully completed the program, the electronics (computer or TV) is yours and so is the positive credit mark provided you paid accordingly.

Q: Are there any hidden cost or fees?
A: There are no hidden charges. Your payments include all taxes, shipping and handling fees.

Q: Do you ever offer special promotions?
A: Yes. From time to time we will offer special promotions and free items with your purchase. Our terms state these promotions are delivered provided your account does not go into default status between your purchase date and your final payment, whether you are financed or not. These items are offered as incentives to start, remain and finish as good paying customers and are shipped after twelve months from your first regular payment or when the balance is paid in full (whichever occurs first). We believe that good paying customers should be rewarded, which is why we offer such incentives.

Q: Do You have a referral program?
A: Yes.  We offer a $50 referral for each person you refer that signs up.  See the referral web page for more details: You Can Buy Referral Bonus Program.

Q: Why are our prices higher?
A: You Can Buy, offers a unique service to people that have had a credit problem, may have abused their privilege to be granted credit, or have not yet earned a credit rating. As you know, credit is about a company trusting a consumer to pay back what they owe, as agreed, in the time frame they agreed to. A company is not obligated to grant credit to anyone. When a customer has a history of not paying as agreed, or not honoring their agreements in the past, or has not established a track record- the privilege of being granted credit becomes extremely difficult, if not impossible to obtain because of the implied possible risk.
The result of past credit problems or lack of credit can be overcome. Our company is willing to take a risk on a customer who has shown not to be a good credit risk in the past or has not yet proven themselves creditworthy, but that risk, is reflected in our prices.
We do not compete directly with retail (cash and carry prices). Our program/items are priced between a cash and carry stores (like Circuit City or Best Buy) and a rent-to-own store like Rent-A-Center.
If you are able to pay cash, that is always the way to go. You're likely to get a better deal!
But If you’re not able- Here is where Our program may be beneficial to you in obtaining the products you want and need while helping you build your credit at the same time.
The pricing for our service is very similar to the pricing of some insurance services. If you are a young driver with very little driving experience, or a driver with a lot of violations, accidents or maybe a DUI, you will be expected to pay a much higher rate for your services versus a driver with a flawless record. Our program is very much the same, but with a credit improvement value added service that helps you get back on track.

Q: Will this program save me money?
